दुनिया में कई ऐसी फोटोज या वीडियो होती है जो हमेशा के लिए दुनिया को याद रह जाती है। वहीं इस साल 2020 की भी ऐसी ही एक फोटो है जो लोगों के लिए एक यादगार पल बन गई है। हाल ही में दुबई में भयानक तूफान आया था। जिस कारण पूरी दुबई में पानी भर गया लेकिन इसी बीच कुछ अच्छा और अलग करने की उम्मीद लगाई बैठा था फोटोग्राफर जोहेब अंजुम।  जोहेब अंजुम पिछले 7 साल से बुर्ज खलीफा पर बिजली गिरने का इंतजार कर रहा था। 

इस फोटो को कैप्चर करने के लिए फोटोग्राफर ने एक पूरी रात रेगिस्तान में बारिश के बीच एक कैंप में गुजारी ताकि वह परफेक्ट शॉट पा सके। जोहेब इस पल का इंतजार कर ही रहा था कि तूफान के दौरान दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची इमारत बुर्ज खलीफा पर बिजली गिरे और जोहेब उसे कैमरे में कैद कर ले। जोहेब ने फोटो लेने के बाद बताया कि वह पल उनके लिए इस साल का सबसे कीमती पल था क्योंकि 2720 फीट ऊंचे बुर्ज खलीफा के सबसे ऊपरी हिस्सा पर बिजली टकराई और उन्होंने इसे कैद कर लिया।

Finally, a long awaited shot! By long, I mean 7 years long. Truly a dream come true moment, a moment lasting a few milliseconds but captured for a lifetime. It was just as though God had planned this moment, the lightning hitting the iconic Burj Khalifa to kick start my 2020. Why this is so special one may ask. It’s just one of those compositions that was sculpted in my head 7 years ago, and ever since, I have always been coming to the same spot, waiting for hours, staying overnight in heavy rains, hoping to capture the moment. And this time too, I decided to try my luck, went back to the same spot, set up my camera, hoping to finally capture, and yet deep inside preparing myself for another disappointment. But this time, Within 2 minutes of setting up my camera, there it came, the bolt from the blue. This one shot enough to wrap my day up, however, I continued to stay till 6am in the morning. Got a few more shots, but the first one would always be special.
