पंजाब की आन, शान और पहचान 'फुलकारी' के बारें में कौन नहीं जानता है। फुलकारी की खूबसूरती किसी से छुपी नहीं है। मगर यह कब औरतों की सजावट से उनके कमाने का साधन बन गया पता ही नहीं चला। इस बात का खुलासा इंस्टाग्राम के पेज Etsy India पर किया गया। यह पेज एक मार्किट प्लेस है जो सिर्फ और सिर्फ क्रिएटिव यानी कलाकारी को दुनिया भर में पहुंचता है। यानी कि फुलकारी को देश-विदेश में सप्लाई करने का सबसे आसान तरीका।इन्हीं की शेयर की हुई वीडियो के कारण हमें कई औरतों के फुलकारी से जुड़ी एक दिल छू देने वाली कहानी के बारें में पता चला है। आइए आपको भी दिखातें है इस वीडियो की एक झलक.....

क्या बताया दयावंती ने ?

दयावंती नाम की औरत ने फुलकारी की एक अलग ही कहानी सुनाई। ऐसा लगता है कि यह फूलों की कलाकारी ही नहीं बल्कि इन औरतों का जीना का मकसद है। यह सिर्फ सिल्क के धागों को नहीं बल्कि अपने सपनों को बुन रहे हो। दयावंती ने बताया कि कैसे उन्होंने यह फुलकारी 15 साल की उम्र में सिखी थी और अब 50 के हो जाने के बाद भी कर रही है। 

क्या है फुलकारी का प्रोसेस? 

उन्होंने फुलकारी के बारें में बहुत कुछ बताया। उन्होंने कहा की- 'वो पुराने कपड़ों से बुनती है फिर ब्लॉक प्रिंटिंग कर उसपर डिज़ाइन दिया जाता है उसके बाद उसपर कढ़ाई की जाती है।' यह एक लंबा प्रोसेस है। मगर इसका नतीजा भी उतना ही खूबसूरत निकल कर आता है।

कहीं और से आया और पंजाब के दिल में गया बस

दूसरी लेडी कहती है कि सेंट्रल एशिया से आकर यह पंजाब के दिल में कब बस गया कि पता ही नहीं चला। आपको बतादें कि यह कलाकारी पाकिस्तान से शुरू हुई थी। अगर इसके मतलब की बात करें तो यह एक तरह की कढ़ाई है जिसे सिल्क के रेशमी धागों के साथ किया जाता है। फुलकारी शब्द का निर्माण दो शब्दों को मिलाकर हुआ है, "फूल" और "कारी" से बना है जिसका मतलब 'फूलों की कलाकारी' होता है।यह ज्यादातर पंजाब शहर में बनाया जाता है।

क्यों बनाया जाती थी फुलकारी ?

औरतें यह फेब्रिक अपने खाली समय में बड़े शौक से डिज़ाइन करती थी। दरअसल, वो यह अपने बेटियों और बहूओं के लिए बनाती थी। पहले शादी में गिफ्ट देने के लिए फुलकारी का ही इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। 

कहा से ली फुलकारी बनाने की प्रेरणा ?

फुलकारी बनाने की प्रेरणा कही और से नहीं बल्कि फूल, पौधे और खेतों से ही ली गई है। उन्हें देखकर धागों में लपेट कर कपड़े पर उतारना तो कोई इन औरतों से सीखें। पंजाब के न जानें कितने गावों में फुलकारी का ही सपना बुन रहा है। मगर अब यह सिर्फ सपना नहीं रहा बल्कि इन औरतों का कमाने का साधन बन चुका है।
